I think there are those who realize that Boulder is just a town and not heaven on earth, and those who think that Boulder is heaven.
It's a very over-priced, over-populated, over-hyped town. Try $800+ for a decent 1 bedroom apartment near campus. Try paying for that apartment with minimum wage. Then, try paying for a season pass on that minimum wage. Parking? Gas prices? Food? Shall I go on?
Those who LOOOOOOVE Boulder can afford to live here. Everyone in Colorado either loves Boulder -- in small doses -- or hates Boulder for most of the reasons listed on that thread.
I can't wait to be free of CU, personally. Every place has it's faults...

PS Who is this smartest person you're talking about?
I'm a Navy husband, stay-at-home-daddy, amateur cook, homebrewer and wannabe writer. I'm always interested in getting in touch with other military husbands and talking about issues affecting male military spouses. Contact info is in my profile.

Uh, excuse me, Professor Brainiac ... I live in Minneapolis, not Boulder.
